NEWSIES! AT ARENA STAGE
This past fall, Joe took on the role of Crutchie at Arena Stage (Washington, DC) in their production of "Newsies!"
Director Molly Smith and choreographer Parker Esse, crafted a production focused on giving young people a seat at the table
and letting their voices be heard.

FUERZA FEST NYC
In the cast of Chris Rivera's "Our Own Odyssey," Joe reimagined the mythic figure of Odysseus as a homeless teenage runaway, lost in the big city. The play was brought to Fuerza Fest, a playwriting festival showcasing Latin LGBTQ+ writers/performers and he received
a Best Actor nomination.

EPONINE AT PACE UNIVERSITY
In their senior year at the BFA Musical Theater program, Joe took on the role of Eponine in "Les Miserables.
As the first, sanctioned, non-female actor in a fully staged production,
Joe was able to bring a fresh, Queer perspective to a beloved character in a musical that speaks to our current political strife.
